What you can expect:
To support our Regulatory Science Seeds & Traits team in Zwijnaarde, we are looking for a Regulatory Data and Quality Management Officer:
- You will maintain and optimize different operational data systems ensuring the highest degree of integrity, accuracy and consistency of the data and are able to proactively identify and resolve data accuracy issues and discrepancies.
- You will be responsible for performing data entry and QC activities on databases, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the data all in a timely matter.
- You act as administrator for uploading of study and related documents in BASF`s regulatory document management system and support S&T Stewardship and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) training needs for Regulatory Sciences.
- You will support the management of standard operation procedures and you will be accountable to ensure a systematic approach to keeping the upload of documents accurate.
- You work with other administrators in the department and other APD teams to coordinate data upload effort.
- You will support and advise on the digital improvements & efficiency of the departmental tools and processes in compliance with applicable quality standards.
- You will contribute to enhancement projects for applications in scope and act as subject matter expert in supporting the department in the implementation of new processes and associated standard procedures.
- You work closely and actively with other team members and various stakeholders and you will collect suggestions and improvements from users.
- You support others in the daily use of data systems and assist with reports and data extraction when needed.
- Effective communication with team members and support functions to provide solutions to complex issues as well as close alignment with other departments (IT department, Regulatory Affairs and Stewardship) is highly important.
- You are part of admin community meetings, you contribute to testing of upgrades and you update manuals.

Who you are:
- You have a Bachelor degree in data management or related field and can look back at a first succesful working experience in this area.
- You have in-depth knowledge of data management, of digital and IT tools, technologies and databases.
- You have a good knowledge of document management applications and its potential use cases supporting business.
- Furthermore, you have a passion for quality design and innovation as well as a high quality management mindset.
- Experience in LifeScience and Health industry is a plus.
- You are hands-on and pragmatic with self-organization and planning skills as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- You have knowledge of QM systems and a strong desire to continually improve business critical processes.
- You are eager in learning and understanding the current as well as future developments of data management applications used in the department and ensuring that any beneficial feature enhancements are fully leverage.
- You have advanced knowledge of MS office specifically Excel, Word etc.
- Finally, you are goal- and result driven and have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
