We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Seed production and Logistics support (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date to join the regional OSR Seed Production management team in the execution of seed production transactions like quality analyses requests, SAP, sample handling, seed production certification, logistics, seed handling, field tasks to achieve high quality OSR commercial seed within the predetermined timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage basic seed shipment for commercial seed production to multipliers: transaction in SAP, Masterdata creation, add all documents, physical prepare and tasks linked to it within the agreed deadlines.
  • Manage and execute all seed handling for the grow-out test in Belgium, Italy, contra-season and store all incoming seed lots of commercial seed production for the 2 production seasons.
  • Execute all requests for quality analyses in the quality management system for parental lines and commercial OSR seed production ensuring that the seed lots meet internal and external quality parameters.
  • Execute the seed certification process: declaration, registration and labeling of the production lots for OSR parental lines within the growing season.
  • Execute the OSR purchase orders, all invoices and payments related to Supply Chain business, field and seed productions agreements,…
  • Execute OSR seed production activities for pre-basic, basic, and commercial seed to meet production plan objectives and targets in Belgium and EU.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree Logistic, Agriculture or equivalence through experience with minimum 3 to 5 year of experience.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, notions of French is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer expertise of MS Office, email tool, SAP and StarLims.
  • Experience in seed production is an advantage.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive and proactive attitude towards new responsibilities and challenges.
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet operational requirements.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required.
