We are seeking a Regional Sourcing Specialist to join us at our R&D Innovation Center in Ghent, Belgium.

Responsibilities

  • As a member of the Global Seeds Sourcing team, you will be the Regional Sourcing Specialist for Field Crops in EMEA and ANZ and you will take care of the strategic sourcing activities for FC within Europe and Australia/New Zealand.
  • You partner with Seed Supply Operations management in your regions to understand their strategy and align procurement resources that deliver value contributions to the business.
  • Ensure that objectives are met and coordinate and supervise value contributions.
  • Develop and implement FC sourcing strategies in close collaboration with respective business partners.
  • Support and coordinate sourcing events for FC in alignment with the sourcing strategies and in collaboration with Seed Supply operation contract owners.
  • You identify opportunities of continuous improvement, innovative solutions and synergies across Business Units, departments, and regions.

Qualifications

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Agrobusiness, Business, or Supply Chain.
  • Additional negotiation and financial acumen training is a plus.
  • You have either 5-10 years.
  • Strategic sourcing experience or 5-10 years in Supplier Management including negotiations/contracting or 3-5 years in global business partnering.
  • You bring good knowledge and understanding of the Agroindustry and Seeds Business in specific.
  • Additionally, you have solid knowledge of Market and Spend analysis.
  • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written. Dutch, German and/or French is a plus.
  • You are an early bird and do not mind working early hours to support ANZ out of Europe.
