Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a Global Digital Product group, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality digital products.
  • Run people and team development processes, including performance management and career development, and ensure that your team is compliant with all existing safety, stewardship and quality standards.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing, cross-functional collaboration, and professional growth.
  • In close collaboration and consultation with the Digital Product Family Managers and Digital Solution Managers, you are responsible for reviewing resource demands and staff allocation for R&D digital product development.
  • Assist Product Family Managers in addressing resource management issues and improving processes, assign employees to products based on their skills, experience, and availability.
  • Manage product owner resources and ensure sufficient resources are available through capacity planning.
  • Manage conflicts related to resource allocation and maintain a comprehensive understanding of current and upcoming product development activities to effectively plan resources.
  • Develop and implement digital product management best practices, frameworks, and processes to streamline and optimize product development lifecycle.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team, encouraging creativity and exploring new opportunities to enhance digital products.

Qualifications

  • You have a master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of successful experience in leading global teams, or a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position.
  • You have a minimum of 10 years of successful experience in the relevant field of digital life science.
  • You have experience in agile methodologies and ways of working.
  • Track record of successfully managing organizational change initiatives and experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating change management strategies.
  • You have multi-year experience in developing and coaching digital teams.
  • You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enable effective communication and interaction with diverse teams and stakeholders on a global scale.
